Curvation and Queen Latifah want you to nominate someone whom they think personifies and projects the power of confidence.
Don’t hesitate to nominate someone for this second annual nationwide search aimed to honor women who embody confidence and make a positive impact on their community
Curvation and Queen Latifah are reminding women that they have just TWO WEEKS left to nominate someone whom they think personifies and projects the power of confidence.
“I am thrilled to be able to honor more unsung heroes and I encourage people to nominate the remarkable women they know,” says Queen Latifah.
The CURVATION (SM) PROJECT CONFIDENCE (SM) Awards are a nationwide search to recognize women who personify and project the power of confidence through contributions to their local communities – via education, fund-raising, self-empowerment and volunteer work – to help other women to gain confidence and self esteem. This is the second year the awards are being held.
From all the entries received, five finalists will be chosen and flown to New York City early next year for an awards ceremony, where they will meet Queen Latifah, in person, as well as the panel of experts who joined her in selecting them. For last year’s finalists and Project Confidence (SM) Award recipient, Yvonne Pointer, it was a moving and unforgettable experience.
To further this initiative, Queen Latifah and the CURVATION® brand recently partnered with the YWCA USA to announce the CURVATION (SM) Project Confidence (SM) YWCA Educational Outreach Program, a multi-faceted women’s confidence research, training and education program executed through YWCA’s nationwide.
“I was taught to believe in myself at an early age by strong, independent women like my mother and grandmother, and want to pass this message to others. Building women’s confidence gives them the strength to live more fulfilling lives,” added Queen Latifah.
