Chenese Lewis Joins Editorial Staff at PLUS Model Magazine

Empowerment Editor to bring curvy expertise to virtual plus size modeling magazine.

PLUS Model Magazine, The Pulse of Plus Size Modeling, is pleased to announce the addition of Chenese Lewis as Empowerment Editor. PLUS, sponsored this month by the CURVATIONTM CURV(OLOGY) CHALLENGE (http://www.curvologychallenge.com), is the premiere virtual magazine celebrating and inspiring the plus size fashion and plus size modeling industry.

Ms. Lewis brings a fresh, new perspective to the team and plans to, “Inspire and empower the PLUS reader by sharing stories, ideas and curvy life lessons. The goal is to help the plus size community understand that anything is possible with hard work, determination, and positive thinking.”

Ms. Lewis, plus size spokesperson, model, actress and the first woman crowned Miss Plus America, advocates positive portrayals of plus size women in the media. Chenese was appointed chairperson for the Hollywood NOW Love Your Body committee in LA and created and organized the first annual Love Your Body Day event in October 2006 for Hollywood NOW to celebrate women having positive body image, self esteem and self acceptance.

Chenese believes that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, “Any opportunity I have to speak, write or represent through example, I’m ready!”
