My mom always told me to stand up straight or I would end up looking hunched over like our neighbor, who had a hump in the middle of her back. Because I developed at a very early age, I had the tendency to slouch, in an attempt to hide my large bust. It also did not help that I was the tallest girl in my class, and taller than most of the boys too. No amount of slouching could camouflage the figure I was trying so desperately to hide. No matter how much of a tomboy I was, there was no denying I was ‘all woman.’
