Dear Readers…
Thank you for all of the emails about the PLUS Model Magazine editorial featuring 8 plus size nude models! We have been praised by many for featuring beautiful women ‘au-natural’ and chided by some who thought that the models were not big enough… thanks for the feedback on this… we ARE listening!
On a recent show, Ellen DeGeneres sat down with Glamour Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive to:
1) Reveal the image of 7 nude plus models appearing in an upcoming issue (after the highly acclaimed success of Lizzie Miller’s nude shot – go Lizzie!), and
2) Announced that Glamour is making the commitment to be more ‘inclusive of size’ in their magazine.
Readers… share your thoughts… when you view the PLUS and Glamour editorials featuring nude plus models, are we doing enough to represent curves? Do you feel as if the media is moving in the right direction with this, or are we not moving far enough, fast enough?
And why, in your opinion, has it taken a nude plus model to move this industry leaps and bounds in such a short period of time?

To be honest I think that glamour could have used more variety of plus size women. I feel that it is in the right direction but I feel that could have used more shapes. I personal do not find those models plus size. They could have also used women who are , pear shaped triangle shape hourglass etc, and more.I fell glamour does not get it just yet. I still feel that they are afraid to go bigger. I hope the next time they do that again they will used different types of shapes to showcase different sizes.
