NEW YORK, NY (December 3, 2009) – PLUS Model Magazine, (http://www.plusmodelmag.com) the premiere virtual magazine celebrating the plus size fashion, beauty, arts and modeling industries, today announced that America’s Next Top Model winner, Whitney Thompson, will grace the cover of PLUS Model Magazine’s January issue. Thompson is the first-ever full figured model to win America’s Next Top Model. Since the show Whitney has gone on to appear in numerous print campaigns, runway shows and served as Fashion Bug’s Right Fit brand ambassador. She is currently signed with Wilhelmina Models.
“We are very happy to feature Whitney Thompson on the January cover. We followed her progress on America’s Next Top Model and we all routed her on. When she won, the plus modeling industry won,” states Madeline Figueroa-Jones, editor of PLUS Model Magazine.
