More news in regards to V Magazine’s “Size” issue. Dakota Fanning and Gabourey are the featured cover girls for the January issue due out next week.
While I am absolutely in love with the fact that they put Gabi on the cover, the choice of picture to me is not the best. Part of my job is to choose pictures for covers and editorials and I could not see myself choosing this angle for “any” size girl.
Still I am VERY happy that V Magazine is seeing the true beauty in all women and that beauty does not stop at a size 00!

I couldnt agree more. Let’s celebrate beauty, not size.
I’m happy Gabourey and Dakota are on the cover but I agree not a good pic for Gabourey, I haven’t seen many in that pose that look good.
yes I agree that they are both on the cover and yes the pose is flattering for Gabourey I am glad she is REAL big girl and shows plus size as lovely
thanx God for BBWs!!!!
I love what V magazine did with showcasing two young talented actors with two extremly looks yet both are equally beautiful. However, I’m not crazy about Gaby’s photo, it’s not flattering.
Keep Thriving,
Tina
Yes I also want to say that they are both beatiful , the actres those chose for the cover, and happy to see gabby consider equally as beatiful as Dakota. Entertainment tonight did a short story or the article, and I plan to buy the magzine because the plus size modles are beatiful and real plus size women. To me better than what glamour did. The pictures of the plus size women give me confidence.
