Plus-sized models have been getting a lot of attention lately. There was that a risqué commercial featuring a model in lingerie for Lane Bryant that made headlines. Now, French Elle is getting a lot of notice as its April issue features plus-size model Tara Lynn on the cover. “I was a size 14/16 in high school, and it wasn’t the easiest thing,” Lynn told NBCLA. Lynn says she doesn’t want you to feel sorry for her. She is, after all, a working model making a great living and gracing a popular magazine cover.
