Tulin Reid Named Executive Marketing & Creative Director of PLUS Model Magazine

New York — Oct 24, 2011 / (http://www.myprgenie.com) — PLUS Model Magazine (PMM), the #1 Plus Size Fashion Magazine, is proud to name Tulin Reid as the new Executive Marketing & Creative Director.

Ms. Reid is a proud curvy woman and former plus model with an extensive background in plus size apparel, design & brand development, e-commerce as well as marketing; advertising, media sales, media buying, media planning, video production, e-commerce, television and print media. Tulin’s role at PLUS Model Magazine is to oversee marketing, advertising, business development, client relations and creative direction.

Ms. Reid has been the Marketing Director for several successful online businesses where she was instrumental in taking these start-up companies that shipped as little as five items a day to more than 5,000 items a day. She was Vice President of one of the largest online media retailers and brings an accumulated 18 years’ experience in media marketing including building dynamic advertising sales groups for niche market television networks and publications as well as having owned her own companies including a video production and boutique marketing agency. Tulin has worked for an international media and television company as the point person for studio and network development, later taking that experience into foreign language television where she developed an advertising sales department from the ground up including technology, systems, traffic and CRM program, as well as Head-End development and management.

Madeline hails from a close-knit NYC family and started her plus size modeling career with a spread in BBW magazine. In early 2003 Figueroa was selected to appear as the spokes model for the "Hips, Heels & Curves" Fashion Show, continuing on to casting director for the Dangerous Curves 2003/2004 Tour. After appearing on several television segments including Aqui Y Ahora for Univision she began reaching out to the plus size community by serving as a moderator for VenusDivas.com, Empowerment Editor for AmaZeMagazine.com. Madeline and her husband Luke reside in the Battery Park city area of NY and operate lucaspictures.net.
